A pit bull puppy suffering from a chain embedded in her neck was rescued by Marvel Superheroes.

Dave Bautista, the courageous actor and former wrestler, has a compassionate heart for animals in distress. Sage, a 3-month-old Pit Bull who had a chain embedded in her neck, was discovered by the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. Bautista quickly gathered money to offer as a reward for information about her abuser.

During the hunt for the perpetrator, Bautista fell in love with the little puppy. He soon adopted her, and she is now known as Penny Bautista. She will never again be deprived or abused!

The chain was embedded deeply in Penny’s neck, and it dragged on the ground beside her when she arrived at the humane society. Because the poor pup required surgery to have the chain removed, she now has a bald spot.

A passerby noticed Penny eating garbage on the roadside and approached her without hesitation. Even before her difficult operation, she was full of affection.

“Sage, a young Pit Bull, appears to be friendly and affectionate despite her suffering, according to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. When our veterinarian and veterinary technicians examined her on the examination table, she wagged her tail,” the organization wrote on Facebook. We were horrified to observe that she had skin issues and overgrown claws. We can’t fathom who would have treated her this way.”

Bautista was outraged when he heard about Penny’s story, so he wrote about it on social media and offered a $5,000 reward for information. He wanted to severely punish the individual who had injured such a helpless dog. The Humane Society is also offering $1,500, and actor Mickey Rourke has offered $1,000 for the reward money.

It didn’t take Bautista long to realize that Penny and he shared a unique connection. Therefore, he adopted her, and her contented expression speaks for itself. From now on, she will live a life of love and attention, he says.

“For me, puppies are the most innocent and pure creatures,” Bautista said. “Anyone who abuses a puppy has to be the lowest form of human being, pure evil, for anyone who abuses an animal like that. It makes me sick to my stomach.”

In addition to rescuing Penny, Bautista also rescued Maggie and Ollie, two other Pit Bulls. Having two siblings to play with will make Penny happy. There hasn’t been any news yet about who neglected Penny, but she seems content as long as she has a family.

Because she deserves the best life possible, this adorable puppy will now be given the best care possible.
