Caleb Williams of USC and Will Anderson Jr. of Alabama are two first-team selections for the AP All-America team in 2022

On Monday, the Associated Press unveiled their 2022 All-American team, which has numerous well-known athletes who have had outstanding seasons. Caleb Williams, a quarterback for USC and the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner, was chosen for the first team, while Max Duggan, a Heisman finalist, was chosen by TCU for the second squad. Hendon Hooker, the Tennessee quarterback, was selected for the third team following a stellar campaign that was cut short by an ACL tear.

Will Anderson Jr. of Alabama and Jalen Carter, a talented defensive tackle for Georgia, both played on the first team defense. USC had three members of the first team, followed by Georgia and Notre Dame, each with two. With seven picks across the three teams, the Big Ten leads the conference with the most representation, followed by the SEC (6), Big 12 (4), and ACC (3)
