Another challenging season for Harry Kane at Tottenham Hotspur. The club has dropped to sixth place in the division and is now nine points behind Manchester United, who currently hold the final Champions League spot, despite his 25 goals in 34 Premier League games this season.
A few years ago, the England captain attempted to force a transfer to Manchester City. Daniel Levy, the chairman of Tottenham, turned out to be too tough of a negotiator to permit the transfer, though.
When Kane’s contract expires at the end of the upcoming season, the club runs the risk of losing him for nothing. So it might be time for Spurs to make a profit off of their lucky charm.
Kane is thought to favor a move to another Premier League club as he is not far off the competition’s all-time goalscoring record. He is second with 208 goals while Alan Shearer tops the chart having found the back of the net 260 times.
A move to a rival club will be the last thing that Levy wants to do, so a move abroad could be Kane’s only option. He has been linked with Bayern Munich but the Spanish website Diario AS has revealed that Real Madrid is also interested. A move to Los Blancos would certainly be tempting for Kane who is still yet to win a trophy in his career.
Premier League news: Alexis Mac Allister to Liverpool
Brighton has had a very promising season, they were unlucky not to get past Manchester United in the semi-finals of the FA Cup. However, the Seagulls are still eighth in the Premier League and can qualify for Europe next season.
One of Brighton’s best performers has been World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister, who has scored eight league goals from midfield this season. As has been the case with many of Brighton’s most talented players recently they are often sold on to bigger clubs in the division.
