NHL futures (Jaden Schrwartz will pepper Ducks with shots)

The Toronto Maple Leafs will start Ilya Samsonov in goal tonight as they travel to face the New Jersey Devils.

The Devils have had the second-most shots on goal per 60 minutes throughout each team’s previous 10 games, averaging 36.22 per contest. Samsonov should have a busy night as a result. He has faced an average of 29.66 shots per road start, therefore I anticipate that tonight will see him surpass 28.5 saves.

The Tampa Bay Lightning take on the Philadelphia Flyers tonight, who have allowed 4.08 goals per 60 minutes over their last 10 games. That leaves the Lightning in a great spot to bounce back after a terrible 6-0 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes.

I’ll bet on Alex Killorn to record at least one point tonight. He’s set to play on the second line tonight, and has at least one point in two of his last three games. I’ll bank on him getting another tonight.

Jaden Schwartz and the Seattle Kraken will host the Anaheim Ducks tonight. The Ducks are allowing the most shots on goal per 60 minutes over each team’s last 10 games at 41.01.

Schwartz has averaged 2.29 shots on goal per game this season, and he has hit at least three shots on goal in three-straight games. He’s in a great spot to reach at least three shots again tonight.
