Pharrell Williams is appointed as Louis Vuitton’s new head of menswear

Font Luxurious Size Pharrell Williams, a hip-hop singer, has been named the new director of menswear at French fashion house Louis Vuitton, the company announced on Tuesday.

Pharrell is a wonderful addition to Louis Vuitton’s team as the new Men’s Design Director. During Paris Men’s Fashion Week in June of next year, his debut collection for Louis Vuitton will be unveiled, the brand said on Twitter.

Williams would take over the position that has been vacant after Virgil Abloh’s passing from cancer in November 2021.

The Wall Street Journal and Le Figaro first broke the news, citing insiders familiar with the negotiations.

The 49-year-old has been a regular in the front row of fashion shows for many years and is an established celebrity in the music industry with 13 Grammy awards and two Oscar nominations.
