Prince Andrew just came under fire for being like Prince Harry, a Spare with the ability to make everyone else “backup”.
These claims were shared by royal commentator Sarah Vine.
She weighed in on it all in one of her latest pieces for the Daily Mail.
In that article he said: “However the king feels about Prince Andrew, he will always be Prince Andrew: self-righteous, arrogant, completely lacking in self-awareness.”
“Actually, not unlike Prince Harry” because they are “two spare parts with a talent to drive everyone else even freer.”
“And it shows, every time he opens his mouth in public,” he added.
Whether that’s his Newsnight interview or Christmas Day at Sandringham.
In light of all this, he went so far as to say, “I’m afraid there is no other choice: Andrew must be out of sight and out of mind.”
“I suggest a long stay on a Caribbean island, but given the conditions that may not be ideal. Perhaps, instead of Frogmore, he could live quietly at Sandringham, hosting dinner parties for the hunting/shooting/fishing set. Just keep him away from the front gates.’
