Shelters are filled with dogs that desperately need a loving forever home. One such dog, a pit bull mix named March, found himself in this situation. The shelter volunteers couldn’t understand why such a friendly and handsome dog was left alone.
As days passed, March became increasingly depressed. He missed running around and playing outside. More than anything, he wanted to find a home where he could be loved and cared for.
March’s dream of finding a home almost came true when he was about to be adopted. However, the adoption fell through, leaving him heartbroken. It seemed as if he understood the situation and knew he wasn’t going home.
Dawn Timmeney, a news anchor from Fox 29, heard about March’s story and decided to help. She took a photo of him in his saddest moment and shared it online, hoping to find him a family. People from all over showed interest in adopting March, but time was running out.
Finally, a family expressed interest in adopting March. Despite the good news, he seemed to have an expression of disbelief, as if he couldn’t believe his luck. Would this adoption fall through like the previous one, or would he finally find his forever home?
