At the Golden Globes, Filipino American comedian Joe Koi made an anti-Prince Harry and Megan Marle joke at the annual awards ceremony.
The comedian slammed the couple for their multi-million-dollar deal with Netflix, despite not being in the star-studded room.
Netflix CEO Ted Sandos laughed at the joke, stating that he knows he has a contract and genuinely laughs. The comedian argued that Megan Marle and Prince Harry would still get paid millions for doing nothing for Netflix.
The comedian argued that they have been sent a strong message that they have not earned respect from the British royal family.
The comedian also pointed out that the entire cast of Suits was in the audience of the Golden Globes, and that they have become global laughing stocks. The comedians’ behavior has become a running joke in Los Angeles, and the WME has their work cut out for them.
