Aspiring Singer, 31, Found Dead in the Woods After Being Missing for 10 Days – Details

According to reports, Jiare Schneider borrowed a car to go clubbing but never returned that night. His family noticed red flags, leading them to believe something was wrong.

It has been a heartbreaking time for Jiare Schneider’s family and friends since the aspiring TikTok creator disappeared over a week ago. The 31-year-old’s body was discovered on November 26, 2024, in a wooded area.

The Clayton County Police confirmed that his body was found in Jonesboro off Brown Road after 1 p.m. The police department’s spokesperson, Lt. Ricky Porter, explained how Schneider’s body was discovered, saying, “Our officers received a call from friends and family of Jiare Schneider, who’s been missing from Forest Park.”

The late TikToker’s family and friends located him earlier on Tuesday morning. Germequa Bell, a family friend, shared how the group discovered him, saying, “This morning, a group of us gathered, and we came out here, and we went to the woods … and there he was.”

Bell said they suspected something was wrong as soon as Schneider went missing. His body was found inside a silver Toyota 4Runner, that matched the description of the car his family said he borrowed from a friend on November 15 for a night out.

Sadly, he never returned. Porter elaborated, “We did find the vehicle deep in the wooded area, which indicates there was a fast speed approaching the intersection.” The area where Schneider was found is about 25 minutes away from the Rumors Club.

The Jonesboro Road Club is an adult entertainment venue in Forest Park. However, it is located just a few hundred yards from a “content house” Schneider’s family believes he visited on the night he went missing. A content house is a space where social media influencers and content creators collaborate on ideas.

The family friend explained how the group searching for Schneider scoured the area around the content house. Bell added, “We never got to come this way because it was blocked off by construction.”

Frustrated with what they felt was a slow response from authorities, the TikToker’s family launched their final search using his cell phone’s location data. The search led them back to Brown Road. Bell said they were relieved to find him but upset that the help and resources they had requested were not provided.

Speaking to the media the day before Schneider’s body was discovered, his sister, Jasnique Oliver, noted her brother’s suspicious behavior before his disappearance. She said he failed to call his son, Nolan, who has a chromosomal disorder called DiGeorge Syndrome. Not seeing any social media posts from him for over a week also raised her suspicions.

Oliver recalled receiving a call from one of her brother’s friends on November 16, informing them that the TikTok and Instagram user, who went by the handle Big_Homie_TooTall, was missing. The call left the family deeply concerned. Oliver said, “We’ve been trying to find out what happened to him for well over a week.”

Although his family tried to stay hopeful, Schneider’s failure to call his son—a daily ritual—was a significant red flag. The family was also alarmed when they realized the TikToker’s phone was turned off.

The family spent a week hoping Schneider would turn up, but when he didn’t, Bell and other relatives flew in to file a missing person report. They also helped lead searches in the area over the weekend.

Authorities are still processing the scene of the late content creator’s death, and his body has been sent to the medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of death. Police are seeking a search warrant for the vehicle Schneider was using to gather more evidence.

In addition to being a TikTok creator, the late aspiring star was also a musician. He released a song titled “Tommy” on Spotify in 2022 under the same name he used on social media. On June 15, 2023, he released the music video for his single on YouTube.

When he wasn’t making music, Schneider showed his love for his son. For Nolan’s birthday in February 2023, he posted several images and videos of him on Instagram.

He captioned the post, “Screaming Happy 5th Birthday to my best friend, my right hand, my ride or die, my heart 🖤🖤🖤 beat , for him I’ll turn the world dark Happy Birthday mini me Daddy going to see you soon we lit all summer 😤🎉🥳🎈🎊🎁🖤🖤🖤. [sic]”

For Nolan’s birthday in 2024, his father took to TikTok to share a video showing his son’s growth from infancy to the present. The creator lovingly wrote, “Happy birthday, baby boy you came a long way I’m so proud of you.Daddy loves you Nolan 🖤❤️‍🔥🖤 #babytootall. [sic]” Schneider also featured his son on his Facebook account.

Nolan’s father will be missed by many, including his sister, Jasnique Woods, who paid tribute to him on Facebook with two photos of them posing with pretend weapons like the “Charlie’s Angels” cast.

She wrote, “I am my brother’s keeper. I pray that you find the peace you were looking for. We got Nolan, I promise. Im gonna take care of mom and sis too. I love you papa [sic]. You deserve to rest.” Woods ended her post with, “Love, Big/Lil sis. We Charlie’s Angels for life.”

Schneider will be remembered as a wonderful father, brother, and friend. Yet, Bell expressed concern for Nolan in the wake of his father’s death, saying, “His son, that’s all we can think about … his son.”

The late content creator’s family fears foul play may have been involved in his death. In this regard, the Clayton County Police Department has handed the case over to detectives in the criminal investigations division, who are “investigating the death altogether.”
