A family’s peaceful vacation at a bed and breakfast takes a terrifying turn. The father, who had been recording every moment with a new video camera, reviews the footage and notices something strange – a red blinking light in the woods behind their cabin. When they investigate, they discover the source of the light is a camera feeding footage directly to their TV. The label on the camera reveals it belongs to Westgate Living, a retirement home nearby. The family visits the police station with the camera as evidence and is surprised to find the officer already knows about the B&B and the strange occurrences. Together, they visit Westgate Living, where the receptionist acknowledges the camera and reveals that the residents have been using it to watch the family’s activities.
The trio, consisting of Danielle, Logan, and an officer, enter a room in a Bed and Breakfast (BNB) to investigate a report of a missing item. They encounter an elderly man named Loin, who is the original owner of the BNB. Loin explains that his son had placed him in a retirement home and rented out his family home to profit from it. Loin expresses his desire to return to his beloved home and spends his days commuting between the retirement home and the BNB to scare off renters. Danielle and Loin form an emotional connection, and Loin reveals that his father had passed away a few months ago, and he and Danielle had tried to care for him in his final years. Moved by the situation, Danielle and Logan promise to help Loin return to his home. They contact Loin’s son and offer to buy the house, which he agrees to sell. Once the sale is complete, they give the house to Loin, allowing him to live there for the rest of his life. The family visits once a year during their vacations, and Loin is able to stay in his beloved home.
