You won’t believe what happened with my 8-year-old son, and I’m still in shock! Last week, he helped an elderly woman cross the street, and when he found out she was rushing to the hospital, he called her a taxi from his own phone and paid for it with his OWN savings! She told him she’d forgotten her wallet at home, and without even thinking twice, he stepped in to help.
I had no idea this even happened until the school called me days later. Turns out, the woman’s son found out about my son’s kindness and wanted to thank him. He showed up at the school with his mom and gave my son a $10,000 check for his future college fund! I could barely hold back tears when I heard.
I am so overwhelmed with pride. To know that my little boy is growing up to be such a thoughtful, selfless young man — there are no words. I must’ve done something right.😭
